ABOUT ME

I am an ex-oilfield engineer turned journalist, currently completing my Master’s in Global Business Journalism at Tsinghua University. And yes, I recognize how peculiar of a career pivot that is. I have a particular interest in using photography, motion graphics and videography to explain complex global issues in engaging ways to a 21st century, social media-centered audience. I have lived in five different countries, and am endlessly fascinated by the stories that materialize from the wealth of our global cultural differences – what is mundane daily life for one person is a fascinating rabbit hole to dive down for another.
